La Gazza Ladra tells the story of a bird watcher who happens upon a peculiar bird sighting and moves closer to ensure that what he sees is not merely his imagination. The Gazza Ladra (Italian for Magpie) is well known for its curiosity and intelligence. It's said they are attracted to shiny objects and enjoy stealing jewelry in particular. It appears this one may have been caught in the act.

About the artist

Andy Rementer is a creative person based in Philadelphia. He grew up in a Victorian beach town which later informed his interest in nostalgia and color after working and living in northern Italy. Andy’s work is tidy, and his characters toss elements from the classic American comic school and other artistic movements such as the Renaissance and Postmodernism. His characters and illustrations have been featured in a wide range of sources. Some of his commercial clients include Apple, Samsung, The New York Times, BMW and so on.
