About the artist

Jean Jullien is a widely-adored French illustrator whose practice ranges from illustration to photography, installations and clothing. His illustrations are easy to recognize, with simple black line and humor, creating a coherent style and focus on political commentary to the objects around him. In 2016, Jean Jullien launched Nounou with Jae Hun, a Korea-based label producing a wide range of items. Jean has also collaborated with numerous brands, including Vogue, New York Times, Beams, Colette…etc.

About the brand

NouNou was founded by Jean Jullien and Jae Huh in 2017. They two met and started to work together when they were studying in Central Saint Martins in London. The brand name NouNou came from the way Jae’s daughter called Jean’s son, Lou, which sounded like ‘nou’ and nous is also the word ‘us’ in French.
