About the artist
Magda Archer is a London based artist, and was trained at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art. Magda Archer creates colourful kitsch artworks inspired by her collection of popular culture. Her works was well-reputed of the nostalgic imagery with contrasting witticisms. In 2012, her distinctive Surreal ‘pop art’ prints were used in an international campaign for Comme des Garcons, and the demand from fashion industry was extended. Archer has also collaborated with Jenny Packham and, most recently, Marc Jacobs.
